Phase-I : Off-Campus On-Line Counselling.The off-campus counselling will facilitate the selection of the most appropriate discipline, institution and branches / programme at candidates' rank and in their categories for submitting their final choices during on-campus counselling.
1.Soon after declaration of SEE-UPTU-2009 results, candidates found eligible for counselling are required to exercise their initial choices of branches and institutions through Internet (www.uptu.nic.in) from places of their convenience. The candidates may contact the nearby Counselling Centres (CC) for availing the Internet facility free of charge.
2.A candidate has to log on to the website http://www.seeuptu.nic.in and click ‘off-campus’ counselling button on the home page.
3.Login and password prompts will appear on the computer screen. Using the instructions given on the screen, candidates are to enter the login ID and password for which admit card would be required.

Q1: I have been assigned wrong code for category ? What should I do ?
Ans1: Category can not change. However if you fail to submit category certificate, your candidature will be transferred to general category as on date.
Q2: I do not know where to report for on-campus Counselling. Please help.
Ans2: The information about the Counselling Centre is given on this Website http://seeuptu.nic.in. Please go to home page and click the appropriate link of counselling schedule.
Q3: If a candidate is unable to produce original certificate, whether he/she can be permitted to appear in counselling.
Ans3: No, such candidate will not be considered for admission.
Q4: If a candidate is unable to report at counseling centre, whether he/she can authorize some one to take admission for him/her?
Ans4: No, candidate has to come himself/herself at the counseling center, no other person on his/her behalf will be permitted.
Q5: Is there any quota for Freedom Fighter, Girls, Defense etc?

1.Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located in the State of Uttar Pradesh and who do not claim for any reserved category are eligible for admission to all the courses at all the institutions against available General (OPEN) seats (No certificate required) [Code: UPGE]
2.Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located in State of U.P. and are domicile of U.P. and belong to Schedule Caste (SC) of U.P. / Schedule Tribe (ST) of U.P. / Other Backward Classes of U.P. are eligible for admission against available reserved seats of their category. (Certificate no. 1 or 2 as applicable is required)

1.defence personnel settled in U.P. on the date of Entrance Examination after retirement / being disabled in action or Defence personnel killed in action and the dependents settled in U.P. on the date of Entrance Examination. Certificate no. 5 is required.
2.defense personnel who are not domicile of U.P., but are posted in U.P. on the date of Entrance Examination. Certificate no. 5 is required.
3.employee of All India Services belonging to U. P. cadre. Certificate no. 11 is required.
